The Computational Philosophy Review serves as a premier forum for rigorous philosophical inquiry into the nature, possibility, and implications of artificial consciousness. Founded in 2014, we bring together leading scholars from philosophy of mind, cognitive science, artificial intelligence, and ethics to address the most profound questions raised by advances in machine learning and neural computation.

## Research Domains

### Consciousness Theory
Investigating the nature of subjective experience and its potential manifestation in artificial systems. This includes examination of integrated information theory, global workspace theory, and higher-order theories as they apply to computational substrates.

### Machine Ethics
Examining the moral status, rights, and responsibilities of increasingly autonomous AI systems. Research in this domain addresses questions of moral patiency, machine moral agency, and the ethical obligations we bear toward potentially conscious artificial beings.
